Leadership

The Office is headed by a Director appointed by the Governor on the proposal of the Minister of Economy. The Director signs every official release.

Gulbarchyn Ryskulova

Director · since 2017

Born in Talas in 1966. A statistician with the Office since 1993, she worked on the price index and the household survey before leading the 2018 census as deputy director. Director since 2017; she signed the census tables of 2019 and Directive 2026/24's census of business entities into the field.
